Autologous Stem Cell Therapy

Autologous stem cell therapy involves extracting stem cells from the patient’s own skin or fat tissue, processing them, and reapplying them to targeted areas. This therapy typically uses fibroblast-rich tissue from behind the ear, which is less exposed to sun damage, or multipotent stem cells from the abdominal fat tissue.

Stem cells have the unique ability to repair damaged cells or replace dead ones anywhere in the body, offering long-term rejuvenation while maintaining the body’s natural integrity.

How is Autologous Stem Cell Therapy Applied?

After applying a local anesthetic to the treatment area, the skin is cleansed with an antiseptic solution. Stem cells are extracted from either the scalp behind the ear or the abdominal fat tissue and are injected into the skin with ultra-fine needles. The procedure takes approximately 30-45 minutes.

Mechanism of Action

Fibroblast cells are responsible for producing collagen, the building block of connective tissue. Through this therapy, 20-40 million fibroblasts are injected, stimulating collagen production, which improves skin elasticity and thickness. This leads to reduced depth of lines and wrinkles, softening of acne scars, and a firmer, more radiant, and revitalized appearance.

When Will Autologous Stem Cell Therapy Show Results?

Results typically begin to appear about three months after the procedure and continue to improve for 6-24 months, depending on the individual.

Duration of Effect

This treatment provides a longer-lasting effect compared to other methods. Studies show that results may last 4-5 years, although this may vary due to genetic and environmental factors.

Treatment Sessions

The treatment can be applied in a series of 3-4 sessions at intervals of 3-4 weeks.

Side Effects

Autologous stem cell therapy is generally safe, with no significant health risks. Mild burning, redness, itching, swelling, or minor bruising may occur, depending on skin sensitivity, but these usually resolve within a few days. The risk of infection is minimal, and there is no possibility of an allergic reaction.
