Sapphire FUE Hair Transplant Technique
The Sapphire FUE Hair Transplant Technique has become increasingly popular in recent years, allowing for a natural and dense hair transplant. This advanced method uses sapphire-tipped instruments of various sizes to create 3D channels for each hair graft. These channels, designed to match the thickness of grafts taken from the donor area, are small and three-dimensional, minimizing skin trauma and enabling higher channel density. This allows for up to 65-70 grafts per cm². The minimal trauma to the skin facilitates a faster healing process, with recovery typically taking only 5-7 days.
The key factor in achieving a natural result is the precise direction, angle, and density of the channels. The Sapphire FUE Technique allows for the creation of channels at the desired direction, angle, and density without damaging the skin. Sapphire tips of different sizes are selected based on the thickness of the grafts and skin structure; smaller sapphire tips are used for the front areas, while thicker ones are chosen for the back. This approach allows for up to 6,000 grafts (equivalent to 12,000-15,000 hair follicles) in a single session, resulting in a highly natural and aesthetic appearance.
The entire procedure takes approximately 10-12 hours, and our clinic successfully applies this technique for suitable patients.
